This represents about 150,000 Intel computing cores and around 200 NVIDIA GPGPU for 2 MW power consumption. EDF develop a lot of software and HPC accounts for the largest share of study-related consumption : understand, optimize and inform users about consumption is mandatory to prepare the future and the use of exascale machines.

EAR is operational since April 2024 on CRONOS.
